"Her vast experience as a major singer on the world stage gives her the expertise to recognise and deal with the needs of any singer and to know, instinctively, where and how to help. Her generosity of spirit is always there as a huge inspiration and her understanding of vocal techniques is second to none." - Norma Fisher (Pianist & Director of London Master Classes)

"Nelly is one of the very few artists in the world who can teach the art of bel canto singing. Her understanding of the science of the human voice, her vast knowledge of repertoire and style are unrivalled. She is a rigorous but patient and sympathetic mentor - an exemplary role model." - David Gowland (Artistic Director, Jette Parker Young Artists Programme)

"I am so proud to call Nelly my teacher, and my guide. I have never met a teacher like her - someone who understands, with such depth of knowledge, how to mould and nourish an artist, their voice and all that accompanies it. She is constantly learning, and working with her own voice, and therefore is able to implement fresh ideas with each of her students and for their particular needs. There is no one like her." - Hanna-Liisa Kirchin (Mezzo Soprano)

"Nelly is a unique teacher. Her approach to singing is truly instinctive, and yet extremely well-referenced with regards to the physical mechanisms of the body. The innate artistry that she bestows on pupils complements her deep knowledge of technique, making for varied - yet consistently engaging and exciting - lessons. Her knowledge, passion, and respect for the art form was clear from the very first time I met with her, and has continued to inspire me ever since." - Betty Makharinsky (Soprano)

"I have known Nelly Miricioiu since we were together in Mefistofele in Amsterdam. I admire Nelly, and consider her as one of the most impressive singers of the last century. I have invited her several times from the jury of the IVC Competition, and she shared her knowledge and experience with us as adjudicator. We know Ms Miricioiu as a dedicated and generous teacher, both for our organisation and for the Belcanto Summer School in 2011." - Annett Andriesen (General Manager International Vocal Competition/Opera Singer/Singing teacher/Advisor to National Council of Arts)
